CIPA Western New York IPA

CIPA Western New York IPA, Inc and the Catholic Preferred Provider Organization promote and support a clinical integration program that engages physicians and the Catholic Health System in programs that improve the effectiveness, efficiently and safety of health care.
CIPA initiatives promote Evidence Based Medicine, adoption of Electronic Health Records and best practices in physician incentive programs.
The cornerstones of the CIPA programs are physician-hospital leadership and clinical reliability.

Dec-11-2009 — Thank you for participating in this office-based program that focuses on improving the delivery of care to patients who have the greatest burden of illness and utilize significant medical resources.
Fall 2009 Clinical Integration Work Groups
Sep-25-2009 — The 2009 Clinical Integration Fall Work Group Sessions have begun. Those attending will receive a $200 honorarium for their time and contribution to the work group. Please check the schedule for the date and time of your specialty’s session and RSVP to Suzanne Krzeminski at 862-1260. Invitations will be sent via fax as well. We ask that you make every effort to attend, as this is a critical part of the overall Clinical Integration program.
Swine Flu Vaccine Update
Sep-15-2009 — The vaccine is expected to begin being available in mid October, though some amount of doses may become available in late September or early October. Discussions of which groups would be targeted to receive any doses that become available in September are under way. Though the early doses may be available before the results from the clinical trials are completed, the efficacy and safety profile of the new vaccine is expected to be very similar to seasonal influenza vaccine.
